Chef Michael & Caitlin Toscano have returned to NYC, and to their culinary roots, with the opening of da Toscano at 24 Minetta Lane in Greenwich Village. The address is the former home to Perla where Michael helmed the kitchen as Executive Chef beginning back in 2012. Caitlin, also a veteran of the NYC dining scene, has an impressive FOH resume that includes work & management at Craft, Per Se, Del Posto and Manzo. da Toscano is the culmination of Michael’s creative interpretations of regional Italian cuisine; a full-service, modern Italian restaurant. The restaurant complements the thoughtful culinary offerings with a curated cocktail, wine & beer menu. This is the second restaurant from the pair who also own and operate Le Farfalle in Charleston, SC. Michael is a James Beard “Rising Star Chef” Semi-Finalist and winner of the StarChefs New York Rising Stars Award.
