Captain

Ristorante da Toscano Ristorante da Toscano is looking for a part-time talented, experienced and professional Captain to join our team.

We are looking to build a team that has a knack for hospitality, expects the best of themselves and their teammates, has a high level of awareness, and can grow with us to offer unique and engaging experiences with the guests that frequent our restaurant every night.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

-Having a solid wine and food foundation. (major allergies, dietary restrictions, regions, grape varietals, vineyards, etc)

-Communicating with our guests and lead our supporting team members to provide a smooth and efficient service experience to our guests. 

-Delivering our guests' beverage and food selections to designated tables.

-Opening duties prior and cleaning duties concluding service. 

-Ensuring proper 

Applicants must have:

-Open weekend availability, as well as some weeknight availability.

-Former experience in an upscale dining environment. 

-Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced and demanding environment that doesn't sacrifice the quality of service with quantity.

-Flexible schedule and ability to work nights, weekends and holiday's when needed. 

-Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours and able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds.

-Must be 21 years of age to serve/pour alcohol.
